Following the postponement of the March event, The Australian Street Rod Federation again extends an invitation to all motoring enthusiasts, regardless of make, model or year, to attend an information day on Sunday, May 2 at the Croation/German Club at Schofields/Marsden Park.
The club is located at 79 South Street, Schofields. It is approximately 6kms from the M7 at Rooty Hill, take the Richmond Rd off ramp heading towards Windsor.
From approximately 11am onwards, key speakers will run through all aspects of modifying vehicles for both full registration and concessional registration (H Plate, D Plate and Street Rod Club Registration). Details of the recently revised Brake Assessment Manual will be discussed, along with how to start registering your replica street rod or individually constructed vehicle (ICV).
Other points of discussion will cover issues with inter-state transfer of registration for modified vehicles and components used in modifications. Time has been allotted to answer questions that attendees may have regarding registration and modifications.
Invitees to the event will include NSW Engineering Certifiers that will also be available on the day for consultation.
There is ample parking available and can flow into the CSI Italian Club next door. A coffee van and BBQ will be running on the day for purchases. Gates will open at 9am and the meeting will commence from 11am, please bring your own chair.
