The recent lockdown in South Australia slammed the doors shut on the annual Adelaide Extreme Auto Expo which was scheduled for November. Event host, Geof Tartoosie was determined to forge ahead with the event however, choosing to postpone it to January rather than cancel.
Held at the Wayville Showgrounds, the Friday night and all-day Saturday shindig is the state’s primo hot rod show, attracting everything from street rods to muscle cars to exotics plus a bunch of curiosities. It’s a fun day out – the 2019 event boasted added attractions like the evening car cruises, arcade games, Hot Wheels car racing, barn find auction and more.
“We are not beaten – the new dates for the show are January 29th & 30th, 2021. See you in the new year!” chirped Geof in an open letter.
