If there’s one thing you can credit Aussie street rodders with, it’s that they love to drive their street rods! A Nats wouldn’t be complete without some form of driving event and the Ulverstone 2022 team have been working with Symmons Plains Raceway to organize a Go-to-Whoa for the Saturday, April 9.
Around 130km from Ulverstone, Symmons Plains Raceway itself has a lengthy history, in continuous operation since 1960. While it’s a 90-minute cruise to get from the showgrounds to the track, Launceston is just 30km away and there are lots of alternative routes back to Ulverstone, so maybe take the long way home after the event and see a little bit more of Tasmania. You can visit www.northwesttasmania.com.au for info on accommodation and other attractions.
Remember that the dates for the Central Coast Nationals are April 7-10, 2022, which is the weekend before Easter. Watch for updates at www.asrf.org.au/ulverstone2022.
