My dad was a Sydney hot rodder since the early 1970s until he sadly passed away in 2010, aged 57.
He was a member of a few of Sydney’s hot rod clubs before establishing the Early Editions Street Rod Association Inc in 1987, of which he was still a member at the time of his passing. His life-long passion for hot rodding over the years saw him build three cars of his own; A 1928 Model A pickup, a 1935 Chev four door sedan, and a 1936 Chev tourer. All the while, he would help other Sydney hot rodders with the building of their cars. He also held multiple roles within the ASRF, including being a judge at State Title Shows.
I was extremely proud to receive this legends award on behalf of my dad.
