It is with much regret that the ASRF announce that the 25th Australian Street Rod Federation Nationals scheduled for Easter 2021 at Albury, NSW, has been postponed.
The restrictions in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, in particular the lockdown in Victoria and the current and potential border restrictions, continue to hinder the planning of the event, with many sponsors and service providers unable or unwilling to make commitments into 2021.
The organising committee believe that there is a high likelihood of COVID related restrictions on venue population still being in place in April 2021, which would also seriously inhibit their ability to deliver a fulfilling event for entrants and the city of Albury.
Following an Albury Nationals committee meeting on the 6/8/2021 and further consultation by phone with State Directors, the majority accepted that postponing the event was in the best interests of all involved and voted to postpone the 2021 ASRF Nationals.
The new date will be Easter 2023. Refunds will be issued to current entrants.
Our sincere thanks to the Albury City Council, the Albury Racing Club, Barlens Hire, the sponsors, supporters and team members for their efforts and understanding under difficult circumstances.
